Perfusion

Perfusion and preservation of the body donor is produced by a special ethanol solution with very low levels of formalin. The mobile perfusion table is exhausted and the gases are directed into an in-house exhaust system. The actual perfusion is achieved with a “PerfuTek” pump system with adjustable pump pressure. The body is then placed in a suctioned whole-body preparation tank with preservation fluid for a period of time. After the whole procedure, the body is stored in a gas-tight plastic bag in the cold room. Because of the special perfusion medium (high ethanol content), the guidelines for explosion protection had to be observed.

Preservation

The single whole-body preservation tank for 2 body dispensers is exhausted. This prevents harmful gases from entering the work area. The charging process is automatic. The guidelines for explosion protection must be observed.

Cooling +3°C and deep freezing -20°C

The specifications of the users / planners were the storage of the already perfused body donors in gas-tight plastic bags in an ambient temperature of +3°C or -20°C. Due to the special perfusion medium (high ethanol content), the guidelines for explosion protection had to be observed.

Preparation tables

Docking preparation tables (mobile) with side suction and body transfer system. The donor body is always placed in the same trough. This means that there is no physical strain on the employee. The docking column also serves as a storage and supply system.
